Monitor types
Tuna supports 6 monitor types for different use cases.
User-driven monitors
These monitors wait for signals from your applications and scripts:
- Job (CronJob) — monitor execution of periodic jobs
- Heartbeat — monitor regular signals from services
External monitors
These monitors check the availability of your resources on their own:
- HTTP — check availability of websites and APIs
- TCP — check availability of TCP services
- DNS — check DNS records
- ICMP (Ping) — check network reachability
