Reporting Violations​

If you want to report abuse or illegal activity prohibited by our Terms of Service on a site hosted via tuna, please send an email to abuse@tuna.am with the problematic URL and a description of the type of violation you observed. Please support your report with screenshots, videos, or other evidence of the violation.

You will receive an email confirmation that your report has been received and is under review.

Fighting Online Abuse​

At tuna, we employ a multifaceted strategy to combat misuse of our services. We have invested significant resources in automated systems that flag suspicious account activity and third-party reports in real time. We complement these measures with manual moderation and tools that allow us to remove malicious and illegal content from our services with minimal risk of spreading it to the public network.

Browser Warning​

To prevent phishing attacks through our platform, tuna adds an interstitial page for free accounts receiving requests from browsers. When a user first visits an endpoint, tuna displays a page notifying them that the content is provided via tuna and warns them not to enter sensitive information if the link sender cannot be trusted. Users see this page only once for each endpoint, and its display can be completely bypassed by adding the tuna-skip-browser-warning header to your request.

Anonymity​

Using tunneling through tuna allows you to hide the real source IP address. However, this anonymity may encourage the use of tuna for hosting malicious content. To mitigate this risk, tuna applies the following controls:

  • Creating tunnels and publishing applications is only available after registering an account.
  • Source IP addresses for all dynamic HTTP tunnels are included in the generated URL. URLs are formed as follows: ${random}-${origin-ip}.${location}.tuna.am. For example, the URL 4l7mqf-212-49-103-2.ru.tuna.am has a source IP address of 212.49.103.2.

API Integration​

If you are a representative of a fraud prevention company, we have simplified and accelerated the content removal request process by providing direct integration via API. If you plan to send a significant number of abuse reports, contact us directly at info@tuna.am to request access to integrate with our API for submitting abuse reports.
